1 Noviembre 2013, Burdeos
This installation is a play on words from the French "La Toussaint". It corresponds to the holiday of "All Saints Day", celebrated by the Catholic Church the 1st of November. With this provocative and daring installation, my intention was to have the on viewer reflect on the body-cult of our society.
With this installation I took an off view of my own breasts, in order to observe them as simply forming part of my body as functional, anatomical and abstract forms.
Each breast has the name of a Saint in order to give them a divine character.
The installation was accompanied with the following question:
"You can look at nude breasts but, can you see them without their symbolism?"
